Hoka One One: Building a dynamic retail experience.

Hoka One One is leading the running revolution, through footwear engineered with a unique geometry that features higher volume and softer density. This revolutionary, maximalist design creates running shoes which are uniquely robust, yet ultra-light.

Our challenge was to create a retail experience which echoed Hoka One One’s impactful and disruptive approach, through a bold and dramatic aesthetic, and the qualities of its footwear, through solid yet lightweight materials.

We designed and manufactured a scaleable suite of retail materials – including shelf talkers, risers, towers, desk props, seating and window graphics – that enabled Hoka One One to exploit the nuanced environments of stores and concessions across Europe and Asia, and gain visibility for its brand in a consistently compelling and powerful way.

Hoka One One is Maori for 'Time to Fly'. The brand came to be in a moment of insight, on a mountain-top in New Zealand.

The founders set out to solve a simple problem: to make running downhill easier on the body, by rethinking the nature of running shoes.
